SOPAREC performs the maintenance of the heating and domestic hot water installations of the buildings complex Le Gai Logis at Le Bourget. It is composed of more than one hundred and fifty apartments. The incoming water from the mains is heated by two Heat Exchangers of sufficient size for the hot water needs of the complex. The heat exchangers, fed by the mains water from the city, are opened and cleaned every 4 months to re-establish the flow and efficiency.

Legend:

• • Top-Left. Before: Scale is present on the plates of the first heat exchanger AFTER being cleaned and operating for two months(summer season) without the protection of the units.
• • Bottom-Left. Before: Shows the condition of the plates before the installation of the 2 units.
• • Center. Installed: Two HydroFLOW ‘C’ units, one per heat exchanger, were installed two months after their periodical maintenance cycle.
• • Right. After: Second was opened after 8 months of summer & winter operation. Its plates were perfectly clean with no trace of scale.
